Cafe Brioche in Palo Alto
Located on California Avenue in Palo Alto, near El Camino Real, this small restaurant has been a favorite place for my wife and I for years. We used to have dinner in this french restaurant, recently we end up there more often for lunch, as it is close to our horses at Pagmill Ranch.
The place is very popular over lunch and the wait can easily be 10-15 minutes if you arrive shortly after noon. The menu features great sandwiches and salads, good eats are the Jerk Crusted Tuna Sandwich, Flanksteak Sandwich, even the regular burger is tastier. What is really killing my diet are the French Fries - they are simply the best in a 100 mile radius! Once you get a table, Cafe Brioche will not disappoint you!

Yesterday my friend Martin and I had lunch again at Cafe Brioche in Palo Alto. His Pear and Arugula Salad with Roqueforte cheese was excellent (he did not leave a scrap) and again I enjoyed the Jerk Crusted Tuna Steak with Avocado - simply fantastic. The fries though only got 4 out of 5 stars - they were on the crisp side today.
Also, it was not as busy as usual - while still are tables were taken there was no line. Either people are still on holidays or the recession is starting to show.
