Thailand Cusine in Maui

Thailand Cuisine Restaurant FrontOn our recent trip to Maui we skipped the fancy restaurants and instead did a lot of our own cooking for most of the nights. Except when my wife's Thai craving got too big and we went out. Having visited the island many times over, we already had our place picked, the Thailand Cusine Restaurant in downtown Kihei and we did not get disappointed.

We had a Pad Thai, a Thai Eggplant, and of course a Tom Kha  Gai soup, spring rolls and crab cakes as appetizers. All were cooked nicely and as hot as we requested - not many Thai places can actually manage that.

On this island with many restaurants disappearing from year to year, we are happy that at least one good and reasonable priced place managed to stay around and we hope they are still there when we return, like, say, next year.

Here an interior shot, nicely decorated. Also, the place is frequented quite a bit by locals, not that many vacationeers.
